With eight of the world’s top tennis players competing, the Nitto ATP Finals delivered world-class tennis and high-intensity moments. In collaboration with immersive communications agency Make My Day, I was brought on to help expand the tournament’s reach—connecting with new social audiences, deepening fan engagement, and sparking conversation beyond the usual tennis crowd.
My initial role involved helping the team design the visual identity for the tournament’s Augmented Reality experience. From there, I worked in a rapid response format: each day during the tournament, I received footage of a key highlight or winning point and had approximately half a day to develop a creative concept. I then brought the moment to life using CGI and motion graphics, delivering a share-worthy animation that was published to ATP’s social channels that same afternoon.
The campaign proved to be a major success, generating over 9.2 million views, 153,000+ likes, more than 10,000 AR filter plays, and 2,600 shares—bringing the excitement of the court to a wider, more digitally engaged audience.
